Growing world population, fast urbanization, narrowing agricultural areas and impoverished farm lands require application of new solution-focused approaches.

In consideration of the foregoing issues, the population of our country has reached from 13 million to 75 million since 1927. And the rural population rate has decreased from 76% to 30% (DIE). In the last quarter of the previous century, although increase in yield is provided by using conventional agricultural techniques, it is not achieved to production amounts that supply wants of our country and world. As we know clearly, starvation begun in the underdeveloped countries, food prices increased in the developing and developed countries. When the period of crisis of our country which occured at 2009 and named as the most hard economic downturn, except for food industry, all sectors exposed the decrease in products demand, but food industry products prices rised up rapidly.

The principal reason of this is the supply deficit.

What causes to this supply deficit?

The answer is as I mentioned above. Population is growing, but the agricultural production areas not.

Food amount exhausted in order to eat a balanced diet by person in a year is definite. Also it is definite that these foods providing agricultural areas. Countries that director of production, make a plans for production according to world market, and it is calculated that how much products is farmed in what amount of area is enough. This shows that agricultural areas is gone through accurate lines. Basin subsidies model that applied in our country at 2009 is the example of this. So, is it enough? Certainly no, it is not. We mention about only our country. Do we effect from any deficit of any other country? Certainly yes. It effects us so hard because stocks are deficient, and because some products can not stored, shelf life is limited. Let we remember the crisis of wheat and rice at 2007. All of us calculated the reserves of wheat, and rice and lentil was considered as same with wheat. In addition to this, individual solution searches happened as tomato farming in balcony and kitchen gardens and so on.

These show that in the years ahead food prices will increase inevitably.

When we examine the solution suggestions, we can see that genetically modified organisms (GDO and GMO) get our life although we are very aware of this situation. Why genetically modified agricultural products? Because of increasing yield, not effecting from pests, deseases and environmental conditions etc. Furthermore, it is known that GMOs are harmful for human health but it is not to take into consideration due to production requirements.

How does provide this increase of production? It is not possible to increase the production areas, on the contrary losses are exist becuase of erosion factor. Also, these losses are not minimal. As we known, huge amount soil like about area of Cyprus, losses in our country for every year due to erosion. It is difficult to talk about any increase in this case while efficiency effects unfavorable because of the salinity problems occured by conventional agriculture in the soil and water, and because of the impoverished soil from continuously processing. In addition to these, water sources are also indicator. Water is the source of life. However, this source are limited and is exhausting. When rain decreases, articles about waterlessness arises, and we have knowledge about water level in dams. However, there is a knowledge which we do not know about it that 85% of water consumption spend for agricultural irrigation. A possible waterlessness will affect the agricultural products more than the urban utilization.

The soil, main component is the soil. Soil production area is restricted area also, because not increasing, can not be increased, is salting, is deforming, is lossing by erosion, is losing the speciality of agricultural area, is urbanizing. The problem is solved while we remove this restricted factor. That is, agriculture without soil, soilless culture. It is possible to make for every kind of area. There is no necessity to soil. The production is under control...
